Car journal

The car journal in the PulsCar app keeps your repairs and service in one place: what was done, when, and what it cost, with photos if you want. It turns "I think it was last spring" into a record.

What you can do

  • Add an entry with the date the event really happened, not just the day you typed it.
  • Attach a photo to an entry.
  • Filter the journal by entry type.
  • Edit or delete an entry, with an Undo if you change your mind.
  • Costs shown in the currency of your region. Entries are saved to your account.

How it works

  1. Open the journal. Find it in the app and tap to add an entry.
  2. Fill in what happened. Pick the type and date, add notes, cost and a photo if you like.
  3. Use it when it matters. Check the history before a service visit, a sale, or a warranty question.

Good to know

  • The journal is part of the PulsCar membership.
  • It stores what you enter. It does not read your service history from shops or manufacturers.

Questions

Why keep a journal?

A dated history helps you answer when a part was changed, supports a warranty claim and shows the next buyer how the car was looked after.

Can I fix a mistake?

Yes. You can edit an entry or delete it, and Undo brings it back.

Is it saved if I change phones?

Entries are saved to your account.

Does it need a scanner?

No. You can use the journal without one.
